iOS App Not Working when Strengthening?

Whenever I try to strengthen one of my lessons in the German from English course, the lesson appears to be loading but then I get an error message saying: "Could not connect to Duolingo. Try starting the session again." However, trying to re-load the lesson doesn't work and I get the same error message again. I've even re-downloaded the entire app but that didn't help either. And for some reason this problem only affects the higher lessons, more specifically all the lessons after "Places", while the lower lessons are still working fine. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, and if so, how to fix it?

Im getting this when i am on really really bad wifi or when i am downloading something so just try on different wifi / maybe good cellular network


I've been using this wifi for months and it only recently stopped working. Even with full bars with a 3G connection it still isn't working. Does anyone have any other ideas?


I suspect it's a bug in the app. It's done it to me too, but it started at exactly the same time as some new types of questions appeared in the app so it's probably new funtionality which will need to be ironed out...
