In the recommended answer shown to me it was spelled "belive". I know they're not usually equivalent but in this case I'd say they're interchangeable. Just thought I'd suggest it as an accepted answer, obviously it shouldn't be the recommended one. Useful to know the literal translation for "trust me" though, cheers for clarifying.
