Timezone wrong at signup

Hi guys,

So I'm in Australia and signed up here a week or so ago. For some reason my timezone is wrong, so my day ends, according to duolingo, at around 4pm. I keep losing my streak because of this, and there doesn't seem to be a way to manually change this. I've contacted them three times about this but they've yet to respond.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Did you get it resolved?

As Dcarl1 said, the time zone is set when you sign up and cannot be changed. However, as you seem to have just started with Duo, it should be relatively easy to create a new account from where you are currently located.

I would definitely try this. Make sure you aren't using a VPN or a program that mask your location (such as Hulu) at the time.

It's the way it is and there is no way to change it. Sadly, they don't tell you this when you sign up. I think you are stuck in the Antipodes, mate.
