A couple of great sites for language learning

Just thought I'd let you all know about the BBC Languages website. I'm not suggesting you abandon DL, as it certainly is THE best of what's around at the moment, but by using the BBC site as well you get the chance to watch videos and do other types of activities as well.

TED is also excellent for watching short talks of about 12-15 minutes (for non-English speakers) and you can choose whether to watch/listen with or without subtitles.

Also, by far the best site for practising English pronunciation for non-English speakers, in my opinion, is BBC Learning English pronunciation tips http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/grammar/pron/

What is 'TED'?

TED has some good talks and videos. For instance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ht4qiDRZE8 :

Learn a language in just 5 minutes a day. For free.
