Hello everybody!

I have conquered my reverse tree a few minutes ago, and I am very happy for that! This is an important achieve for me, because I am a spanish native speaker and this is the second tree that i have ending here, on Duolingo.

The spanish tree seems a little very hard to me, it contains many words and expressions unkown for me until now.

One of my achievements has been to be able to write in english, i know that i still make a lot of mistakes, but i have been capable to reach this important goal.

Now i want to reach the level 25 in my reverse tree in order to memorize all the new words and expressions contain in this tree.

thanks a lot, and all the best to all of you!

Correcciones: This is an important achievement for me. I am a native Spanish speaker. (Los nombres de los idiomas son siempre en las grandes letras en inglés. Y "native" es antes del nombre del lenguaje.) The second tree that I have ended (o finished o completed.) ...to write in English. I have been able to reach this important goal. Congratulations, Webnauta. You are doing great.

These are all the corrections, (Note: I have dropped words marked as () also and made corrections on what a native would say over simply being understood):

Congratulations! I am working on my reverse tree too (español -> inglés) and I think it's a worthwhile activity. Sometimes it seems really easy, but then at other times really hard! I debated whether to write this in Spanish or English - but I decided to let YOU practice, haha! Your English is good, BTW - only a few small mistakes in your post. Enjoy your success, all the best to you too, and thanks for the inspiration. :)

As a native English speaker trying to learn Spanish I can say that your English (above), while containing a few minor mistakes, is nevertheless very easy to understand and you communicate your thoughts very effectively.

Here, to be honest, doesn't make sense i can roughly figure out what you are trying to say...while changing as little as I can, personally i would write it like this

I have been thinking about INCREASING MY LEVEL WITH IMMERSION,

the last half I don't understand what you mean :S (because i have only the first level during my participation in this website... )

How would you say "Practice makes perfect" en español? Is this a common expression? In the United States, we use this expression a lot. Gracias. What level are you in the reverse tree?

"practice makes perfect" is an idiom. Literally, in spanish can be translated like this: "La práctica hace la perfección", although it is more common to say that like this: "La práctica hace al maestro". I use this expression a lot too!

In my reverse tree i almost have the level 22.

Good bye!

"Practice makes perfect" es un modismo. Literalmente, en español puede ser traducido así: "La práctica hace la perfección", aunque es más común decirlo así: "La práctica hace al maestro". ¡Yo también uso mucho esta expresión!

En mi árbol inverso tengo casi el nivel 22.

¡Adiós!

I agree with you,the mistakes are the best teachers :) Learning includes the mistakes, i don't know another way to develop () knowledge WITHOUT mistakes. Practice makes perfect!

The 'the''s in front of mistakes at the beginning are optional, to my ear it sounds better without, but the last two definitely needed dropped/changed

A slightly improved version would be:

But very good Gustavo! :-) I have seen you on the weekly leaderboards and it has been an incentive to push for some more experience daily than the coach made me do! :-)

Hey Webnauta! After correcting most of your comments here I've noticed two BIG things that if you worked on would dramatically improve your English to virtually fluent, so here they are ;):

1) Knowing when to drop 'THE' before a noun

&

2) Knowing when to use the 'ING' form of a verb (doing, swimming, playing etc) think it's technically called the present participle and gerund form

I won't attempt to educate you on them as I'm sure there are far more resourceful sites/resources that can do a better job than me on the subject

Goodluck!
