30 days with Duolingo + results
Hola y saludos a todo el mundo. Today I've been using Duolingo for exactly 30 days - and I simply love it. Since the beginning, I've learned so much, and after 3 weeks, I started to use Assimil as a supplement & watched 'Los simpsons' and many other countless series. The result is that I can understand almost 50 - 60% of the news & series and have a general idea about what they are talking about. Furthermore, I understand around 60 - 70% of what's written, but I didn't have yet a conversation with a Spanish native (which I will hopefully do in the future). To sum up, I'm really happy about the results (got complimented by penpals which excited me really much) and I'm going to continue like that and study even more. Adios y buenas noches! :)
ive never used it but i heard hellotalk is a good app for strengthening languages by talking to other people in it
Felicidades!! Yo he usado duolingo por 35 dias, junto con otros recursos. Y he notado un gran avance en mi ingles! :)
Enhorabuena! Tenemos que continuar cada dia, y asi vamos a entender y a hablar espanol pronto :))
Congratulations. I remember when I started using Duolingo (one year ago), I was not able to write, speak or even read in english at all. But now al least I can express some ideas and thoughts.
I hope you learn much!
excellent, i'm at my 27th day now and will hopefully get to level 10 this weekend. 11 in 30 days is VERY good, may I ask how many XPs you did per day? I was an idiot, i did only 50 in the beginning, not knowing that the levels become so much longer with time. And many baubles are 10 steps now, so i can't do more than 1 a day as I am at work most of the day work, realistically.
Well, at the beginning I did around 150-200 a day, simply because I was really obsessed with it. But after, I reduced it to 50 a day, because I added other learning materials, and so Duolingo became just a nice supplement instead of the core of my learning.
