Help me find a good series in spanish

Hola amigos! I recently started using Duolingo to learn spanish and I think it is great. But I also wanted to find some more listening and speaking materials to help me improve so I thought I could watch a series /films/tv in spanish.

Here is my problem, I have a hard time finding any english series in spanish. I was looking for one that I have already watched in english so I know the plot. If anyone knows where I can find any good series to watch that would be amazing.

Hasta luego!

Ps. I like Friends, the simpsons, Big bang theory, Outnumbered, supernatural, game of thrones e.c.t

You're in luck, because it's much easier to find Spanish TV show on YouTube than in other languages--at least in the U.S. I've watched 'Padre Dowling,' 'Rex, un policia diferente' (a really fun detective show), 'Las Calles de San Francisco,' 'La Huella del Crimen' (Footprint of Crime), the list goes on. I like 'Zorro' which is a good, short (1/2 hour) English version dubbed in Spanish. In YouTube just type in Zorro en espanol. (you don't have to add the tilde. If you want to know more, respond and I'll email you some. I have several YouTube subscriptions and Playlists that I'd be happy to share. There are also several more contemporary series in Spanish on YouTube, but I find they use too much slang and speak too fast.

Try the series Extr@ en español on Youtube. The series is good and made for language learners.

You can also checkout the Spanish audio course at LanguageTransfer.

Yes, the Extr@ series is excellent. There's also one for French and maybe other languages. The best thing about it is that it's all in Spanish, but the actors speak a little more slowly and clearly. There is also usually a character who, like us, is also learning Spanish.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if you have Netflix there's a lot of stuff on there that you can change the language to Spanish to. I'm not sure how many series are that way, but I do know there are a lot of popular movies they have on there in Spanish. I watch Disney movies on there in Spanish all the time, haha.

I use Netflix as well, but someone had told me about an extension for chrome web browser. Its called Hola Better Internet. What this does is make your browser think that you are in a certain region. I have mine set to Mexico, so now my netflix account thinks that I live in mexico. They offer different movies depending on what region you are in and also offer more subtitles and dubs. Now I watch all my favorite shows in spanish with spanish subtitles!

Interesting. I knew about Hola Better Internet, but was not aware that it also affects NetFlix. I'll try that out. Gracias por el consejo.

Las series en español son malas, mejor mira series en ingles que hayan doblado al español o con subtitulos
