One Year on Duo
I have just reached my 365 day streak on Duolingo! This is exciting because I see this as one of the best language learning sites out to date! I give the Duolingo team all the credit for their hard work into making this such a useful, and sometimes annoying, learning experience. To celebrate this achievement, I have finished my German tree, but I won't stop there. I will continue to review, do some immersion as often as I can, and try the reverse tree. This site will help me greatly in preparation for the AP German Language Exam in May. After that test, I will continue refining my skills, and put some more effort into Italian, which may see a drastic increase in level as the summer rolls on by. I hope many others can achieve this and/or better. Good luck fellow Duo users!
It inspires me to see people passionate about language. Ironically I have a 0 day streak, but I am patiently biding my time until the Hebrew course on Memrise and by listening to Hebrew radio.
What are some other resources you use? I'm having some trouble finding other good resources besides Memrise. Maybe the resources you use would have some Hebrew stuff.
I found some Hindi stuff by googling Hindi Classes Online, Try googling Hebrew Classes Online
Your achievement is my goal. I'm 5 and a half months old on Duolingo and a little more than half way down my Spanish tree. Hopefully I will bring it in strong like you and finish in a year before working harder on my second, French. Thanks for posting, I feel encouraged to keep on toward my goal. And totally congrats!!
Little by little, every day, and getting a little ahead of my German class in High School.
Yes, it is exciting to finish a tree and achieve a full year. Congatulations and good luck on your future language plans.
