how to get to the next lesson?

I am in spanish skill 5. I just finished with animals and I am ready to go to the next lesson which is possession but it is not lit up. I can't select it. Do I need to hit certain levels on the last lesson to open up the next?

You have to first do all of the skills on a row. It is most likely that you have not completed the food or plurals lessons which are located beside the animals skill. Once you have completed all of the skills on a row you will be able to do those on the next row.
