¡Terminé mi árbol de Español y logré una racha de 150 días!
Yesterday, I completed the entire Spanish tree, and I also got a 150 day streak along the way! Here is what I've learned:
1.) Duolingo is awesome.
2.) The English - International keyboard layout is very helpful. No alt codes.
3.) Writing down all the words you don't know really helps with retention. And, it creates a nice little list.
4.) The subjunctive mood is a thing in English.
5.) Forum spammers need to be shot on sight.
6.) This post tells you how to format discussion posts.
7.) Duo makes its money by selling translated documents back to websites such as CNN and BuzzFeed.
8.) SpanishDict has all of the conjugations for any verb you can think of.
9.) The owl is omnipotent. Do not mess with it.
10.) Almost all Duolinguists are very nice people that make learning a language all the more enjoyable!
Oye WackyJack . . . Try this. While you're watching cool TV shows and films or listening to films, try to find words (or phrases) that you hear and write them down. ¡Sigue así!
BTW . . .
127 - 94. Yes, I can poke fun at the Mavericks because my team is . . . the New York Knicks (We beat the Utah Jazz 82 - 87. ;-)
Thanks. At least my team might make it to the playoffs. Take that, Knicks. :) I can't even watch the Mavs. I don't have cable.
