a famous movie episode taught in duolingo method and then that very scene watched after that. I think that would be very interesting to do. So say we go through the same 20 questions style practice which will be comprised from the movie script. After which we watch short clip or scene from that movie. I think it's a great way to strongly memorize words and sentences for a long-term.

That may be good way to connect language to context, although there may be a number of idiomatic expressions to work through, which is good still. They may be copyright issues though.

"What ain't no country I've ever heard of. Do they speak English in What?"

This excerpt is probably not a good choice for a movie to select from. ;D

Pairing video with these lessons is an excellent idea! The current computer generated voice is good, but is no match to real world speech patterns and inflection. The video does not necessarily have to be a copyrighted movie scene either.

That is an excellent idea. And I'm sure would help people make a stronger connection with certain hard to grasp sentences. I have been watching movies and listening to songs in order to facilitate my learning and I find that I'm more alert to new words and sentences as I try and interpret their meanings.
