What's your favorite mnemonic for a Spanish concept?
A mnemonic is basically just a trick to help you memorize a fact or series of facts. Sometimes they're abbreviations, or funny sayings for abbreviations, songs (like the ABC song), or elaborate imagery to connect the concepts together. Really, if it's something slightly-contrived that makes the idea stick in your brain, it's a mnemonic. They're not perfect, but they have their uses.
Do you have any mnemonics for vocabulary, conjugation, or any other concept in Spanish? I'd love to hear yours. It can be one you made up for your own use, or one someone taught you.
There's one for common preterite irregular verbs set to "Ten Little Indian boys" Song:
Fui, fui, vi, di, vine, tuve, Hice, puse, y estuve, Quise, pude, supe, dije, Traje y anduve
This one is similar, except they left out estuve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07RmltyNvgI
Hope this helps!
