I HATE THE NEW DASHBOARD

Is it just me, or does the new format for the dashboard totally suck?

The biggest thing is that, unlike the old layout, this one no longer displays student emails. This fact is troublesome 1) because it makes it harder to tell which student the account belongs to and 2) because it's eliminated one of the ways I helped students remember their login info.

I have several students who only have numbers instead of a username. I think this happened when students used their google info to create accounts.

Can we pleeeeease get the emails back?

We took a look and it appears there are four names with numbers, which may be a result from G+ signup. We're taking a look at how we can change that.

Doesn't it show their full name on the Dashboard? I use this to identify people.

For some students it's just numbers (like 1234540234). I believe this happens either when they use their google information to create their accounts. Previously, this didn't matter because I could see their email address.

They can easily change it in their settings, making it easier for you to see which student one is.

Yes, but I don't know who has the problem so I don't know who to direct to their settings. (I have 200 students.)

Won't you be directed to the student's profile if you click on their name (or number where the name is supposed to be)?

I told all my students they had to create their username as their first initial middle initial last name and graduation year.
