"I will continue to write until I become an author."
Translation:Jeg vil blive ved med at skrive, til jeg bliver forfatter.
This is a confusing construction for me. Can somebody explain how to use "ved med" like this?
'at blive ved' (to continue/to stay at it) or 'at blive ved med at' (to continue to [do something]) are standard phrases in Danish. I can see why it is confusing to have those two prepositions next to each other, but that is just the way it is, I suppose!
