This is a confusing construction for me. Can somebody explain how to use "ved med" like this?

'at blive ved' (to continue/to stay at it) or 'at blive ved med at' (to continue to [do something]) are standard phrases in Danish. I can see why it is confusing to have those two prepositions next to each other, but that is just the way it is, I suppose!

Det kunne nok virke med "fortsætter med at". På svensk behøver du ikke "med", men det gør du på dansk.
