Unable to get notification emails?

Recently I've noticed for the past few days that I haven't been getting notification emails for when I need to be reminded to work on my French/Dutch/Swedish. I've gone to look at my settings to make sure the boxes for the notification emails are checked and they all are. Is there any way to fix this?

Try turning off and on the notifications again, and make sure that you are using the right email and that the time you want it to be sent if correct.

Okay. I turned the notifications off then back on again. I still didn't get any notifications today. :/

Have you made sure that the time for the notification is correct. If so and it still doesn't work, report a problem, and they should get back to you.

Yes. Are we supposed to be setting the notifications to different times if you're learning multiple languages?

You can set the time for the same time if you are learning more than one language, but make sure that you have set your time for when you want to check your email.

I have just realised I have NEVER received a reminder email. I didn't know this facility even existed - and yes, I've broken a massive streak because of it! And yes, it's set to "on" in my profile - just has never worked.

I used to get the notification emails until they stopped for an unknown reason. Also I'm sorry to hear about that losing a long streak. It sucks. And that's strange. I hope the problem will be able to be fixed soon.

I usually remember to practice my Dutch, so I won't know for sure if it's fixed until next time I forget - whenever that is! But I did forget over Christmas - I thought I only missed Christmas day, but must have missed next day (Boxing Day here) too. I had streak freeze in place, but of course it only protected me for one day, not two. If I'd got the e-mail I'd have remembered to practice, or at least log in to purchase another streak freeze!

I'm the same way. So far, this is the longest streak that I've ever had so I try to make sure that I at least try to get on Duolingo once a day. Yes, that really sucks. :C
