Creo que para traducir "ella se había sentido demasiado enferma" deberían haber escrito "She had felt too sick", es decir, el orden del "too" altera el resultado...

Demasiado is used whenever you want to talk about something being “too much”,
e.g, too much food = demasiada comida, demasiado rápido = too fast.
