"Do we mourn this man?"
Translation:Sörjer vi denna man?
I do not understand why" man" is indefinite when "denna" in English could be subtituted by "the". Does" denna" not mean the same as "den här",which uses "mannen"?
Det här goes with definite nouns, whereas denna fits better with indefinite ones.
Colloquially or dialectally, one might hear denna boken and the like, especially in southern Sweden, but it's discouraged in writing.
