Irish English Dictionary

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good English Irish dictionary to be in possession of to assist with learning? I am finding that I most of the time I have a good idea of what I want to say but need a book at hand to prompt me along.

Are you able to use the internet? If so, focloir.ie - it''s The New English-Irish Dictionary, and is set to replace De Bhaldraithe's English-Irish Dictionary, the current standard which is sadly a little out of date. I have heard that they do eventually plan to release a print version, but I haven't heard an anticipated date.

Otherwises, Collins and Foclóir Póca are both good options, and De Bhaldratihe's English-Irish Dictionary is still good, though it might not have more modern words. However, it also has less Béarlachas.

And, just in case you want an Irish-English one, you use Foclóir Gaeilge-Béarla, beyond any shadow of a doubt.
