"If you had more humor" is an awkward English translation. I would translate this as "If you were more fun" or "if you were more amusing" or similar. It's like the "honger hebben" case -- it doesn't seem like a literal translation is good enough.

A better translation would be "If you had more of a sense of humour", I think.

"je" or "jij" can often be used interchangeably. "jij" may be used when emphasis is needed.

u/uw is the formal form. It's used when you're being polite, like when you're speaking to a customer or to someone older than you.

Something awkward about this sentence; in reverse "If you had more humour..." would come out as "Als je meer humor had..." (I believe) which makes me think that a better translation of "Als je meer humor zou hebben..." would be "If you would have had had more humor..."?
