Turkish package started ...
Good morning from Kathmandu. Its a cool morning here after fabulous thunderstorms last night. Hello to all Duolingo-ists!
Glad to inform all of you that I have started the Turkish package. Its interesting because I have some knowledge of some version of Turkish. Will share with you my impressions later.
"Excuse me, bye" can be used in some special cases (for example you are rushing to somewhere and hit someone you know you can say it together) but "Goodbye and good night" is unnatural (Turkish is my mother tongue and I am 44 years old I've never said & heard such a thing) "Good night, good bye" (= "İyi geceler, hoşçakal") can be used when leaving at night but not with an "and"
