"Does the room have a telephone?"
Translation:Tem telefone no quarto?
Why my answer was not accepted?? "Does the room have (a) telephone?" (a) = UM, UMA, UNS, UMAS in portuguese, My answer "o quarto tem (um) telefone?" should be accepted, instead, these are the "correct" answers "O quarto tem telefone?" and "Tem telefone no quarto?"
Especially since they are so punctilious about inserting "um" elsewhere in situations in which it would be optional.
Is "O quarto há um telefone" also valid? From what I hear, "há" is mostly used in written form in BR and oral / written form in EU-PT. Is this accurate?
Tem telefone no quarto.
Parece estranho mas eu acho que deveria ser tem um telefone no quarto e não tem telefone no quarto. Estaria mais explicado.
