"Tá fáilte romhat" is "you're welcome." You're being asked to translate "welcome", which is " fáilte."

The spelling of romhat ? (I presume that failte would be treated as a typo warning for fáilte rather than as an error.)

Can this be used as both a greeting, like "welcome to our home" and as " you're welcome"? Or is it just the latter?
