Let's play a game
This is a song in spanish (the one in the links below). It's slow and the singer pronounce clear and loud. The game is this: you listen to it and transcribe as much as you can in this post.
All three links are differents videos but the same song. I hope you participate.
[Also, hope no one "google" the lyrics.]
It's pretty long. I'll do the first bit.
For all Germans: "Dieses Video ist in Deutschland leider nicht verfügbar, da es Musik enthalten könnte, über deren Verwendung wir uns mit der GEMA bisher nicht einigen konnten."
~~The video might contain music which is not free or which has copyright. Youtube maybe stands in contact to GEMA to clear the problem.
Therefore I am not able to join. :(
GEMA is quite strict, sehe ich... Or maybe it's not GEMA's fault, but the singers' fault...? Who knows...
And neither I can join because Spanish is my mother tongue. Lol
"GEMA is quite strict" -right, it is its task to be strict.
"Or maybe it's not GEMA's fault" -of course not, GEMA is the friend of all musicains. GEMA make sure, the musicains earn money when their songs are played in public or when their songs are played by strangers to get money.
"the singers' fault...? " no, it is the fool of the person who uploaded the music. GEMA only looks for the correct use of music rights.

...fine, with the help of the text (it is only a part of the whole song) I got an idea. Without any translation tool I won't get the unbold text. Does anybody knows this text in English without a translation tool?
I'll translate it for y'all! :) Mere approximation, many things can't be exactly translated:
I have right here under my dress very well hidden your damn kisses, butterflies that when at dawn were returning to house were returning with me, I have right here under the bed that we messed up every morning, I have so many things and none is in its place.
I have here, inside of a glass, the first wave of that morning, I have in one of my curls the rhythm of the Tango that you always danced, I have written on a sigh those words that we never said, I have so many things and none is in its place.
Enjoy it ;)
- 00:17 --> de regreso a casa se venían conmigo
- 00:49 --> el ritmo del tango
- 00:54 --> palabras que nunca dijimos
- 01:08 --> qué corto fue el amor
- 01:27 --> sola y muy solita se va
- 01:47 --> tu fotografía
- 02:05 --> tengo tantas cosas
Content: It's about a lost love and the hope in getting it back.
That was fun. Thanks! After listening to the song several times and trying to get as many words as possible (and making a bit of a mess) I decided to look it up on the Lyrics Training site. There are lots of versions of the song there including this one: http://lyricstraining.com/play/la-oreja-de-van-gogh/cuentame-al-oido/HymUHg22Py#ibw
Lyrics Training is great. Just try to fill in the words as the song is sung, and if you don't understand a word, hit tab and they'll fill in the word for you.
Here are other versions of the song there: http://lyricstraining.com/search?qry=la%20oreja%20de%20van%20gogh
I know this isn't exactly what you had in mind but it's another way to play with song lyrics. Thanks again!
