Strengthening lessons

Normally when I go back to strengthen a lesson, the strength rating changes to 5 of 5. The last one was 3 of 5 and when I completed the lesson, it was still 5 of 5. The one before that was 4 of 5 and after completing it, it remained 4 of 5. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Not all lessons change to 5 out of 5 after you strengthen them. It didn't change because you didn't strengthen enough words. Try strengthening it again.

Thanks for your reply, nb. I'm not sure your answer is correct. One of the lessons didn't change even though I didn't make any mistakes. I have done much worse at times on past lessons and they changed to 5. I just completed adject. 2 (10 lessons). Upon completion, it gave me a 5 out of 5. I then clicked "Home" and scrolled down to start the next lessons, and adject. 2 was at 4 bars. So it seems there is something wrong with the software. What do you think?
