Is informatie uncountable like the English information or countable like the Italian informazione and the German Information? Because it looks uncountable in this example but I think I've seen meer informaties somewhere

Is zoekmachine commonly used in Dutch? In English these days you'd mostly just tell someone to use Google.

Generally in Dutch people would also say that they "googled" something. Though while the most common term a "search engine" is technically speaking a more correct term than "google".
