La radio

Just realised that duolingo teaches 'el radio' to mean 'radio' rather than 'la radio', but it is a feminine noun!

I think it can be both masculine and feminine.
El radio is the physical device, La radio is the medium.

according to wordreference.com it's only masculine when it mean the radius of a circle, or the spoke of a wheel, but when talking about the radio, it's feminine

When I looked at wordreference.com for radio translated English to Spanish it said the principle translations were:-

radio n (broadcast apparatus) radio nf
radio n (receiving apparatus) radio nm
