Timed practice gone bonkers
Recently I've had a lot of problems with the timed practice. My computer is sometimes a little slow, but then Duolingo gets really messed up in the timed practice. It's been saying that I have 32451978423:12 minutes and seconds left (for example) and changing the amount each question, so that the next question I will have (for example) 133529582382:30 minutes and seconds left. I actually have been getting a benefit from this because my time just keeps running and running, and I have no rush at all, and just keep on getting a point for each answer. But, my timed practice really has gone bonkers, and everything gets off centered and REALLY slow. Thanks for any fix! :)
I have seen the same thing happen when I used timed practice. It will glitch and give me a crazy amount of time.
It's very odd. I want it to be fixed!!! But, I know it will be soon because the DL team is really great at that. :)
I seen it last week but didn't report it because I was enjoying all the extra time xD lol. I figured if it was happening to someone else they would report it and you did.
HAHAHA!!!!! At first I was like, SWEET!!! But now it's starting to really bug me, so I thought I better report it. I might have mixed feelings about this decision... :P
It doesn't happen to me often I actually thought they had already fixed it. :P I feel like we should start with 45 seconds or a minute lol when I mess up on a few and only have 10 seconds left it's so much pressure that I don't even spell english words correctly xD
Thanks for the report! This is one of those sneaky bugs that are hard to replicate but is in our list of the issues to fix. Thank you all for your patience!
That has happened to me! Not in a while, though.
It'll ask me to record something even though I turned off the microphone, and then I'll click the "Click here if you don't want to use a microphone". That's when my time skyrockets.
I reported it by clicking "Support", but I got a surprizingly irrelevant automated message explaining how to turn on my microphone. I don't think anybody read my report.
