It means basically the same thing as slösa, however öda is much less common, which is why I picked it!
Yes. But first of all, öda is not a commonly used word - the word slösa is much more widespread. Slösa basically means the same thing as öda in many cases, thus you can:
Slösa mat - Waste food
Slösa tid - Waste time
Slösa pengar - Waste money
So you can basically slösa anything :). Vaska on the other hand is more specifically used for:
Since vaska has become somewhat of a popular word among some people (stekare and brats), vaska is probably also used for other stuff that is being wasted, but the origin is from wasting champagne.
Would be an idea to include the previous word of the week so we don't forget that easily :)
