Open DL links in a new tab

When you click on a link that refers to another DL address it opens in the current tab not in a new tab and that leads to losing your current practice.

With CTRL+click (mac) or right-click (windows) then select "open in a new tab", it works here.

I know, but they should make it to open in a new tab automatically as other links, shouldn't they?

Personally, I prefer how it works. Clearly when I click for an external link I want it to open in another tab because I don't want to quit Duolingo. But I don't want that Duolingo opens an internal link in another tab. When I navigate in Duolingo, I pass from one page to another without wanting to keep the former page and when I want to keep it, I use de CTRL+click thing.

Maybe it should pop up an alert, then. Like, "Are you sure you want to lose your practice" or something like that.

Yes, something like that will be appreciated.

I don't mean all DL links just links in discussions. like if some comment refers you to another discussion you want to open that link but still want to read the rest of the comments.

I agree there is no need for new tabs for other links like Home, Immersion buttons.

Strange... to be sure, you're talking about CTRL+click (then select with the mouse or the arrows (direction)), not about CMD+click ? because the latter doesn't work, but the former works here.

Doesn't work for me on Firefox 58, Linux (neither does middle click work). Right-click context menu doesn't show "Open in new tab" option either.
