I FINISHED MY SPANISH TREE.

WOOHOOO. So i finally finished my Spanish tree and i'm so happy right now. i know that people post about finishing theirs every two seconds but i just couldn't resist not posting about it as well.

So what am i doing next?

First, i'm going to go through the things that i'm not good at (aka subjunctive), then goldening my skills and doing the reverse tree. i also plan on taking a couple of Spanish courses in summer(and maybe a couple of German as well), and finally i want to go through the French and the German trees as well.

Thank you duolingo!

Oh wait i forgot to add up this thing, for people who are learning languages that are really similar like (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French ), don't you get confused? i mean don't you mix things up and stuff?

It was quite difficult for me to mix German & Swedish, certainly because i never studied a Germanic language before.. So i was very likely to mix up a few words.

Other than that (Spanish & French) seems to be very good couple imo :) they work pretty well together.

y Felicidades por terminar el arból =)

Good work! I recently finished my Spanish tree, too, and I dove into translating. It's a lot of fun, and it's a good way to put your skills to use. :-)

Here is an idea : Instead of doing the "English for Spanish speakers" You can do the "German for Spanish speakers". Like this you learn German and you improve your spanish.

Well done! I just got started on Duolingo as a refresher, but know from experience that mixing up languages happens (I speak French and Spanish, besides English and Dutch and I used to speak all four on a daily basis). Just keep practising; it takes a lot of energy to switch between languages. My theory is that new connections are formed in the brain. Once you're more used to switching between languages, it gets easier. Keep going!

woah that's a lot of languages! how did you learn all four? and thank you!

De nada! Mother tongue is Dutch. English and French were subjects at secondary school. During my studies, I learned Spanish. At work I used all of them.

Congratulations! How long did it take you? :) Definitely do the reverse tree. Try Immersion as well, if you haven't already. It's very rewarding! :)

Not quite... still working on that. Mostly problems with vocabulary gaps (I don't know anything about weather or restaurants or anything), not thinking in Spanish, and verb tenses. :P

ughhh verb tenses. i personally think they're the worst!

Well done, I looked at Italian and could see that could be confusing, this is why I am sticking with German and French.

Personally, I rarely get confused and that was long time ago but now everything in each language is independent from the other language.

Congratulations! I would suggest doing the reverse tree (learn English from Spanish) first to strengthen your Spanish before learning one that's very similar.

Es bueno ver como esta plataforma funciona y en verdad esta generando un aprendizaje considerable y motivacional en quien la utiliza constantemente. Congratulations To You! I'm going down the same road because learning always continued .. Learning is repetition.

I do on some like Spanish and Italian, but not on French just because of the different pronunciations. I haven't tried Portugese yet though, so I can't say on that.
