I don't know if. Supposed to post this at all, but, the slow version of "de maand eindigt op maandaag" is almost completely indecipherable....

How would one say "The month ends on a Monday"? Would just placing "een" before "maandag" suffice?

"To finish" is typically used to mean (or at least imply) that something is being completed or that there's an end to an activity. Periods of time end. "He will finish his task this month, which ends on Monday."
