What is the different sense conveyed by the use of teve instead of tinha?
This is also my question again. I see this type of sentence more with 'tinha' then 'teve'.
When would i use tinha. I get these confused all the time.
You can use it probably only after all 3 of them died..
filhos can be sons or children, can it not? Why would sons not be a correct translation?
Could this be used in the sense that he had three children but became estranged from them ?
