i use "hope" to translate "souhaite" in another sentence and it was accepted here "hope" is not accepted why ?!

"I hope for" seems like it should be valid

I believe 'hope' is better translated using 'espérer'.

i put "i hope for" and it was wrong. correct translations included "i hope". wtf?

Not helpful when the dropdown over a new word shows the translation, but when you use that it marks it as being wrong. There needs to be consistency.
