I can't log in with my iPhone

As soon as I leave my home network, when I start the duolingo app I get a blue screen where I can swap until I get a login screen. However, when I enter my login name and password or email and password, duo tells me "we couldn't log you in. Your username and password seems wrong." I'm using the same name and password as on this side, so clearly that is not the problem... Once I'm at home again, the login goes through. But how can I access my app if I am out of home?

I have the same problem...with the same message. It goes right back to the login screen.
