Prepositions

Hi! again, I have a problem with the english prepositions, somtime I see in the books same sentences but with different prepositions, and I don't know if both are correct, example, I have seen,

_My brother works in the bank

_My brother works at the bank

What's the different? the same sentence maybe with other meaning?

Thanks

My brother works in the bank and my brother works at the bank have the same meaning. We''d probably say at the bank more often, but both are correct.

Some examples. My brother works in the loan department at the bank. Bank is the location, and we tend to use at for that. In - think of the loan department as a big box, that your brother is inside (dentro de). The use of in, on and at is complicated to explain, it's like por and para for English speakers.

Other examples. I live in Tucson, on Double O place, in a yellow house and I am sitting at my computer right now.
