lost my page

I have been studying Spanish for several months. I sometimes study German, also. This is under a different name. I accidently switched to a language that uses Arabic or Asian text, none of which I can begin to read. Therefore, I can't find my way back to my English/Spanish class. EVERYTHING is in the other language. I poked around repeatedly hoping to recognize something in the format. I decided to re-enroll under a different name, but still want the one showing my progress, etc. Can anyone help me?

Alright, f the language truly is Arabic, then it will be a right-left script and the website will look backwards. Like this:

SO. To get back to the English site, all you have to do is this.

  • First. hover over the English flag at the top (or whatever other language flag is on the menu bar next to your username)

  • Select the bottom line of text on the drop-down menu, the first line that doesn't have a flag next to it (This text means "Add Course")

  • Now you're on the course page. If you have a right-left script, you'll see another drop-down menu on the left side of your screen above the various courses with that base language. Click this drop-down menu.

  • If you click the third line of text should take you to the list of courses with English as a base language. Now that you're there, you'll see a bunch of flags. Select the one you want.

  • Finally, on the "X for English Speakers" page, there will be a button near the top of the page, on the landmark/image that represents that course. Once you click this, you'll be back on the English site!

I really hope this helps! If you can't get this to work, let me know and I'll try to hep you more!

I completely sympathize with you. After completing my only tree I decided to do the reverse tree. After a brief time I wanted to go back to my original tree to do strengthening lessons. I had a devil of a time getting back! I was totally panicking and haven't tried to navigate away from my original tree since.

  1. Click the link https://www.duolingo.com/settings/direction
  2. Select I want to learn Spanish from the drop down list
  3. Click Save changes (this will be in a different language but you can identify it by the green colour box)
