La Mappa Misteriosa
Ciao amici. I wanted to share something which is currently helping to progress my speaking and listening skills. For me, Duo maintain a fantastic job overall, but I feel that my reading and writing skills have taken precedence over speaking and listening (no detriment to Duo).
'La Mappa Misteriosa' is a an Italian-learning video adventure which can be found on the BBC's website here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/italian/lamappa
Sincere apologies if this has been shared historically - I hope others are able to benefit from it the same as I have.
Lovely! As a "bolognese", citizen of Bologna, I will follow la mappa with even more attention... it seems very well done, as are all BBC productions actually. Thanks for sharing.
if you google "british youtube" you can get to programs not available in the US. try this link https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=la+mappa+misteriosa
I knew it was great, but in the recent time I haven't been able to access its contents. It displays 'This page has been archived and is no longer updated'. Am I the only one with this problem?
The old assessment type activities have since been archived, but although there's a message at the top of the page for this one, everything seems to work fine. Bizarre! Did you try the link above?
Are the respective browsers that you guys are using up to date with the most recent flash? You might want to try deleting the history, cache and cookies within the browser's settings, and perhaps an alternative browser? Let me know how you get on.
Good thought, my friend. I've tried with IE, Firefox and Chrome, and I get the same result with all three. I'll keep trying...thanks again for the link and great thought. Grazie mille!
The actual video episodes only work inside of the UK now, although I can get the other grammar ones that are separate. I saw I note on it somewhere on the site.
Oh, I guess it explains everything. Thanks. I guess the videos aren't available elsewhere. That's disappointing.
