Go dti is not ok here?

Shouldn' t "go dti" be accepted instead of "chuig" or are they used in different ways?

Téann sé chuig an ospidéal
Téann sé go dtí an t-ospidéal

It is somewhere discouraging that an exercise which has been grammatically correctly rendered, is considered as a mistake. In this case " go dtí " and " chuig"

I thought chuig was for events rather than for places

Yes go dti should be ok when téann is included

With go dtí, it's an t-ospidéal, not an ospidéal.
