Er... I wrote "I have worn these shoes for two weeks" and it says that the correct variants are either "...for for two weeks" or "have been using..." WTF?!?!
Same thing happened to me. Reporting it on 6/17/14.
Happened to me too. Reporting.
This shoes??? THIS shoes???.... C'mon! Please fix this lesson Duolingo. It's the worst one in Portuguese.
I have worn these shoes for two weeks....
was marked wrong. Does "usado" = "worn" in this case? What are they using the shoes for if they are not wearing them? Door stops?
same thing here, 'worn' is even in the hints, should be correct!
Same problem for me. Please fix!
For for on 6/23/14
Same here! It wants you to make the same mistake. "for for two weeks". Messed up!
I answered "i have worn these shoes for two weeks" I know you already reported it, but nothing has been done yet. (8/19/14)
Are those examples of "por" actually legal in Portuguese? It's just too English!
I thought in Portuguese it was more like "Tenho usado estes sapatos faz/durante duas semanas"
It's ok... por = durante = faz in this case... I prefer to use "por" here...
I have been wearing these shoes for two weeks?
Exactly. Your sentence is better than that of DL.
