Turkish text book
Apologies if this is a repeat question. I'm gonna be biking through western Turkey in about a month, and I would like to supplement my Duolingo learning by having a grammar/vocab book with me on my trip that I can reference (so I don't have to use the internet).
Does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally, it would be a small book, as every ounce counts on a trip like this. Would something like a Lonely Planet phrasebook be suitable?
For a phrasebook, I think the Lonely Planet is perfectly good and definitely lightweight.
If you want a real book to continue studying from, I have used and liked Herkes İçin Pratik Türkçe. It is not necessarily the best textbook out there, but it is very compact (good for your purposes) and has lots of practice exercises instead of a whole separate workbook.
