I have added some more to the list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudo-anglicism#Turkish

Sometimes the meaning is so different that confusion is unlikely but sometimes it is close enough to mislead (e.g. apartman, flirt, market).

Of course anyone can edit Wikipedia so if you know more go ahead and add them. But first check the word is not already mentioned as Turkish in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudo-anglicism#Multiple_languages

I am glad you found a German phone useful, but please stop distracting me from my learning with clever humor!

Someone has removed my Wikipedia edits claiming "These words are direct loanwords from French (mostly retaining original French pronunciation) and predate the influence of English in the Turkish language." Well yes some of them were but some were not. Maybe I will get round to trying to create an article like the Wikipedia Spanish-English false friends one at some point, but it will likely be deleted. Anyone have a better idea of where to put a public list of Turkish-English false friend words?

Now I started a list at https://tr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Yalanc%C4%B1_e%C5%9Fde%C4%9Fer#.C4.B0ngilizce.2FT.C3.BCrk.C3.A7e and I think my change is awaiting review by another Turkish Wikipedia editor.
