Credit for translation

I decided to take on history in immersion and translated a story about Anne Bollin. It took me forever but I really enjoyed the exercise and learned loads of Spanish but at the end of the session I was not credited with the completed document. Can you tell me what I did wrong please so that I can go on with my next study.

I used to forget to translate some of the titles or graph information or words under the pictures. I don't know if you missed anything. I just did before.

It depends on what you mean by "I was not credited with the completed document".

Do you mean you didn't get the bonus 10xp for translating/checking everything? You may have skipped a sentence. Click the first sentence an then use your down arrow to bring up the next sentence and see if you skipped anything. Sometimes there will be a random stray punctuation mark that got categorized as its own sentence.

Do you mean the green progress bar at the top of the document didn't reach the end? Try reloading the page, sometimes the progress bar freezes.

Do you mean the XP is not showing up on your points graph? Reload the home page, there is often a delay with the immersion XP showing up.

Do you mean the document is still showing up in the main menu as needing to be translated or checked? In that case, there is nothing you can do if you've translated everything. You just need to wait for other people to check it (click "looks good").

But you have no obligation to finish the document, so don't worry about it if you can't figure it out. Nothing is stopping you from moving on to your next thing!

I believe that the bar at the top does not become full until, not only has the article been translated completely, but each sentence has been checked at least twice. The article may never show as finished, unless you can recruit people to check it for you.

Congratulations, though, on finishing the article!
