Subjuntivo!

"Traigo la camisa blanca cuando hago ejercicio" does not seem correct to me as the verb after "cuando" should be "en subjuntivo", i.e. "haga" and not "hago"! Horst Berger

I don`t see this being subjunctive because you are saying you bring the white shirt. You are also saying you exercise. There is nothing iffy about the sentence.

you use the subjunctive after cuando when you are talking about a future event that hasn't happened yet. ex. te voy a llamar cuando llegue. (I'm going to call you when I arrive) you don't use the subjunctive when you talk about something you usually do. ex. escucho musica cuando camino a trabajar. (I listen to music when I walk to work) & you don't use the subjunctive after cuando for a past event that happened. ex. no oí el telefono cuando me llamaste. (I didn't hear the phone when you called) the subjunctive is used for opinions, feelings or when there is some element of doubt. hope that helps

Why should it be 'subjuntivo?'

I doubt the subjunctive should be used because the subjunctive tense represents a desire, or reflects a mood, or how a person feels about an action.
