Must Spaniards always be addressed formally? Duo isn't accepting " Tu viens d'Espagne. "

Report it instead. And it could be more than one person (in that case, only "vous" works).

Every sentence is produced and reviewed individually by (mostly) volunteer course contributors, so it may very well happen that some alternatives are not accepted yet. Just report them. They do check the reports and correct the sentences and add valid answers, even if it sometimes takes time.
