"Choimeád mé a litir mar fuair sí bás."
Translation:I kept her letter because she died.
Pol clutched the letter close. It was from his daughter. She died when she fell and was hit by the car. Pol's wife was so grief stricken she turned to the arms of strange men to heal her broken heart, but Pol couldn't deal with that so he left her.
Just wondering, how would we hypothetically differentiate between his/her letter in this sentence if we can't lenite the L?
