My Dutch tree is complete!
Woohoo! After 147 days of work, I have finally finished my Dutch tree and am moving on to German! Thank you to the Dutch team who made this happen :)
You'll see lots of similar words and harder grammar, aber du schaffst das schon ;]
I started with Dutch just before Thanksgiving time, but I'm really not sure why I chose it. I had joined Duolingo back when it was really new to learn German, but never really used it until I started on Dutch. From that point, I began working on the tree, gaining levels, and competing with a friend to see who could finish the tree fastest. (I won.) After this, I started to try to watch Dutch children's media and read some Dutch Wikipedia, which certainly helped a lot. But now that I'm finished, I'm going to try to keep practicing my Dutch through those methods. Good luck on your Dutch :)
Thanks! I finished my tree about three weeks ago. Gymnastics injuries aren't all that bad (I started my language mission while recovering from one and stuck both with Dutch and gymnastics even after I fully recovered)
Gefeliciteerd! Ik hoop dat je veel plezier langs de weg gehad! U zult genieten van de Duitse taal! Veel succes! Met hartelijke groeten, Josh
