This is fantastic! Suggestion for commenters: how about we try to have simple conversations with the vocabulary in these posts as practice? And of course, corrections welcome. Here, I'll rty using some:

Soy de California. Aqui, tenemos muchos terremotos. Tuvimos uno la semana pasada, pero no fue grande y dañó nada.

El terremoto sacudió la tierra Nepalesa y lo dañó.

Native speakers, would this sentence be correct?

The sentence sounds nice but i would prefer the word "Nepalí", cause when you refer to people is more convenient to use "Nepalesa" than "Nepalí".

However, still sounds good the phrase. I'm a native spanish speaker.

Annex: «El terremoto sacudió la tierra nepalí y lo dañó.». the article "lo" needs to be change for "la", cause "la tierra" is femenine. «El terremoto sacudió la tierra nepalí y la dañó.»

I'm not native, but I think it would be «El terremoto sacudió la tierra nepalí y lo dañó.» This is only because in the newspaper I was reading, «nepalí» was used for things and places (either gender) and «nepalés/nepalesa» was used for people. Also, make sure to decapitalize words like «nepalesa», «estadounidense», or any other demonyms.
