New Feature?

I logged in to my account just a few minutes ago, then I saw this:

Soo, is this a new feature? Is this a new A/B test? Or is it an old feature? Is this an old A/B test?

[Edit]: For now, maybe we could call this "Skill specific flashcards"

[Edit 2]: Dr.Bimic was right. They were adding this new feature hence the loss of access to activity stream.

Nothing there for me (simply "Strengthen X"). Including the flashcards for a specific skill is a new A/B test -- I haven't seen it previously.

Edit: Explains why the streams were down for a while.

It seems that if you do the flashcards, they can also strengthen that specific skill. If one says that they don't know one of the flashcards, then the system will bring the word(s) back later. I just tested this on the Objects skill in the Spanish tree.

I really like it. It only counts the ones that you're correct and repeats the words that you're wrong

My predictions of a new feature were correct! However, I have general flashcards, but not skill specific flashcards.

Flashcards have always been able to strengthen words which also strengthens skills when enough words are strengthened. The difference here is that now you're able to focus that effort on one skill.

Yes. I have that feature. I was just playing around with it. How did you get the flag in your background though?

I'm noticing the review section now tends to not comprise a few categories but rather a select number of vocabulary words repeats in each sentence. So that's a bit of a change.

This feature is great, though it would be much better if flashcards had articles/genders in languages where it's necessary. A strange situation can happen, when a user reviews all his tree using skill specific flashcards, and when his tree is gold he can't even finish a practice session, since he doesn't know articles.
