Teaching ESL

I work for Literacy Volunteers. We teach ESL, but our tutors may not speak the language of the student. In the office, we would like to monitor student progress, but are not fluent in the many languages of our students. How do we set up Duolingo School where we see it in English and our students see and do it in their own language. When I try to "login" as our non-profit, Duolingo makes me choose my personal language, English, and the the language I want to learn. I would not be learning a language on my Literacy Volunteers School account.

How do I set up Duolingo school for ESL?

Hi! I'm on Duolingo staff and would love to talk to you more about what you'd need. Please email at community@Duolingo.com, so that we can help you get set up!

Your students can share their progress with you by going here in their settings: https://www.duolingo.com/settings/observer

There they can fill in your email and you can monitor their progress and you will get weekly updates on the progress they made.

You also might want to have a look here: https://schools.duolingo.com/
