Nu är det gjort

En liten uggla satt en gång

och sjöng i duoskog.

Han hade sjungit dagen lång,

men dock ej sjungit nog.

Vad sjöng den lilla ugglan då? JO!

Trädet går,

sjung hoppfaderallanlallanlej.

Trädet går,

sjung hoppfaderallan lej.

Och den som inte trädet tar,

han ej heller trofén får.

Trädet går,

sjung hoppfaderallanlej!

And so I have got to the end of the Swedish course, thanks to the makers as well as fellow travelers who have had insightful/funny discussion along the way.

Of course I didn't start from the zero level, and I'm sure I get exposed to more Swedish than many others so it wasn't a particularly difficult course for me, but still it was good to refresh my skills and learn something new on the way too.

Now to turn a number of lessons golden and to wait for bonus lessons...

Grattis!

(Your choice of song shows that you have indeed been exposed to Swedish-speaking culture... A very cool version, though! :-) )

(for the curious, I did some minor changes to a popular drinking song that goes like this:

En liten fågel satt en gång och sjöng i furuskog. Han hade sjungit dagen lång, men dock ej sjungit nog. Vad sjöng den lilla fågeln då? JO!

Helan går, sjung hoppfaderallanlallanlej. Helan går, sjung hoppfaderallan lej.

Och den som inte helan tar, han ej heller halvan får. Helan går, sjung hopp faderallan lej.

"Helan" means here a shot, a full glass. The first part is sung solo by the songleader, the rest by everyone).

Bra jobbat! However, the accent on trofén is on the final syllable, so it doesn't fit melody. You could go with bucklan though (slang for a trophy) ;)
